Floris Garden Cottage is a recently restored classic weatherboard Blue Mountains home which offers you an ideal break from the hustle and bustle of living today.

Best suited to one or two couples, a family or small group of friends looking for a mountain getaway. For couples, there's plenty of room to each have your own space, but still come together in the dining and kitchen area for a meal. Three comfortable bedrooms, 1 queen, 1 twin and 1 single all with linen provided to make your stay more comfortable and stress free.

Enjoy an afternoon on the verandah overlooking the classic cottage garden. Created with loving care this garden emulates the famous work of Paul Sorrenson, just smaller in scale.

Stroll up to the Katoomba village for shops, cafes and restauarants or to Echo Point and the famous Three Sisters. Scenic World and the famous Skyway are just a few minutes drive. In fact you can now join the Skyway at Echo Point, visit Scenic World and return to Echo Point, so in effect all is within walking distance.

[1] This property is not suitable for children under 10 years as there is a garden pond in the backyard and constant supervision would necessary. The property owner will not accept this risk.

[2] There is an open fireplace and guests are required to take particular care when using. As the house is centrally heated, fuel for the fire is not provided, but can be purchased locally from service stations, hardware stores and even Woolworths. WARNING: The fire should be doused before retiring at night, as a smouldering fire can produce carbon monoxide or a fallen ember set fire to the house.
